ashtanga yoga in my days

Back in line

A week has gone by without blogging, but fortunately not without practicing ashtanga.

I enjoy always (well, almost always) reading other people's blogs, but that does make me very critical to my own writing. I feel that when I have nothing to say, I should not say it. And I admit, being anonymous and having decided that I will only write about ashtanga practice (and a little bit of blogging) does make my blog very boring. Maybe it is just a way of noting things for me, for later review and memories... Checking dates for past injuries and occasional moments of progress. With the little excitement that maybe, maybe there is someone out there who actually reads this... Makes me try, at least, to avoid typos, if not write better.

I did practice last Friday - a tough led class after work. I was sore on Saturday! And lazy on Sunday. And had a morning meeting on Monday, so I returned to my normal mysore class on Tuesday only. And today, Thursday. But full play up to parsva dhanurasana each time now. I've decided to go easy again for the sake of Christmas and to ease up a little bit since I have done two months of quite intensive practice and start to feel a weak but permanent fatigue. And the left knee is still bothering me, this time even in padmasana! A moment of very concentrated correct breathing is for every day, though.
